Carpe Librum will be popping up in Georgetown ( 3217 P St. NW ) for an exciting outdoor book sale on May 15th!
This is a great opportunity to spend a sunny day supporting literacy and education in the DC public school system. We will need volunteers to help us pop-up, check-out and pop-down the tables and bookshelves for this extraordinary and energetic fundraising event.
Can you lend a hand?
- The first shift is from 8:30 am - 10:00 am helping to set up the table and shelves.
- The second shift is from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm helping to break down the tables and pack up books.
If you have all day or just a few hours, we would love to have you come help out!
Contact Marin at mkirk@turningthepage.org for more information.
(By the way, we're not just any bookstore: we're a fundraising bookstore! Carpe Librum collects donated books, CDs, and DVDs to support the DC nonprofit Turning the Page.)5 Shifts
