In developing our digital marketing plans we require a Blogger to post two times a month on subjects related to pediatric cancer. To do an effective job as the Here to Serve Blogger, research will need to be done on the internet to find content and topics that can be expanded upon for the Here to Serve blog. You will need to determine themes for given months, i.e. this month (September) is pediatric cancer awareness month. The blog should include topics that address pediatric cancer. We have a content calendar for blogs and require 2 months' worth of written blogs prior to posting.

The writer must have an excellent command of the English language, have writing samples and experience, and write engaging stories on topics of interest to people who seek resources and interesting insights about pediatric cancer, stories, and available resources. Their writing must be compelling causing people to come back for more so that the blog gets popular and draws an audience.

We currently have a small team of volunteers who are working together to develop a digital marketing plan. Having a blogger will be the centerpiece of the plan as it will be promoted on all other social media to bring awareness to Here to Serve and hopefully a larger audience to our website. We have an agency working on our SEO and blogging will help bring more people to our website. We need to increase both donations and provide our services to new patient families whose child was recently diagnosed with pediatric cancer. We would like our blogger to live in the U.S. and have an excellent grasp of the English language.

We believe a child or young parent’s cancer diagnosis is a life-altering "journey." For that reason, the care and support of the family are required to prevent parent(s) from losing their physical and mental health, home, job, and entering into bankruptcy. Therefore, we provide wraparound services to meet the daily living needs of young families navigating cancer.

Description

Research Coordinator who can work with an Access database on ShareForce. Need someone research organizations online and through phone calls updating organizations with correct information, contacts and categories of service they provide. Need to delete defunct organizations and add news ones as found through online research.
