40% of all food goes to waste, and 1 in 3 people in San Diego County is food insecure. Do you have fruit falling off your trees on your property? Does your neighbor or someone you know have trees they would like picked?
ProduceGood is a nonprofit who gleans your excess fruit to feed others who are in need of fresh produce in our local community! We want to pick your ripe fruit for free. We same day transport your fruit to one of our partner agencies who feed San Diego's food insecure. We pick your fruit, coordinate details, are fully insured, follow specific rules, and provide a tax receipt. If you are interested in having one of our volunteers glean your fruit, please register with the link below. https://producegood.kindful.com/register/new-grower- registration-form-2021-season- 2020
Join other volunteers of all ages to glean (pick) fruit in backyard orchards for people in need. Together, we will help address the problem of hunger and waste in one sweet step.
Enjoy a fragrant Monday - Thursday morning gleaning fruit trees at various residential North County groves from 9am - 11:30am year around. Volunteers wear sturdy shoes as well as bring a water bottle, and will be provided with necessary equipment and orientation at pick location.

Description
We're a food recovery organization but not a traditional one. We go to the source of surplus produce - backyard orchards, farms, farmers' markets, and grocery stores - to recover the excess and transport it to food pantries, shelters, and other organizations that help food-insecure San Diegans. Join us!
