Your time can mean everything to an individual who needs blood. Help be part of saving millions of lives each year by assisting as a Blood Donor Ambassador and serving as the face of the American Red Cross for individuals donating the ultimate life-saving element.
Blood Drive Blood Donor Ambassadors are needed in Montgomery County at mobile Blood Drives or at the Willow Grove Blood Donor Center. In this vital role, you will serve as the ​greeter to blood donors and be responsible for taking the pre-donation temperature, observing all established safety protocols prior to them entering the donation area. This is part of the increased safety precautions at all blood donor centers. Gloves, sanitizer, sani-cloths and masks are provided and all safety/social distancing protocols strictly adhered to. You may be asked to help at the registration desk, too. HELP US SAVE LIVES, ESPECIALLY NOW!
Requires completion of Red Cross volunteer application at https://volunteerconnection.redcross.org/?nd=lead&h=192&p=1357515 along with strong customer service and communication skills as you greet and thank each potential donor.
Full training provided, plus you only sign up for shifts that are convenient to your schedule.
