*Handing off needed items from supply cupboard, carts and/or closet from the hallway to staff in patient doorways.
*Assisting with keeping supply cupboards, carts and closet fully stocked.
*Becoming familiar with supply, linen and nutrition closets.
*Delivering meal trays from meal cart to patient doorways during meal times.
*Learning the tube system, pulling sent items and delivering to rooms.
*Assisting with errands to other areas of the facility.

Volunteers assisting in this role may be required to wear a medical face mask that will be required to be worn for the duration of their shift depending on the unit they are assigned. Hospital issued scrubs may also be provided as part of this role's uniform.

Shifts:
*Are available every day, Monday through Sunday
*Start as early as 5:30 am
*Are available as late as early evening
*Are a minimum of 4 hours long

A resume is not required but can be submitted before or during the initial new volunteer appointment with CDCE.
