Are you skilled with public relations and confident in developing communications strategies? Passionate about helping others and looking for a way to give back? NAMI San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Valley needs a motivated Marketing & Communications Director to help us carry out our mission of helping people affected by mental illness. This position helps us convey our vision to audiences inside and outside the organization -- essentially, you help decide what we’ll say and how we’ll say it!

The Marketing & Communications Director will:

• Create and implement communications strategies that strengthen our brand identity
• Guide our social media team and help meet digital outreach and engagement goals
• Generate and distribute digital and print materials for NAMI programs and events
• Oversee content production, including email blasts and newsletters, and website maintenance
• Report to our Operations Manager and lead a team of talented volunteers

ABOUT US: The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation's largest volunteer-led grassroots organization helping individuals affected by mental illness. At NAMI San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita Valley, we are proud to offer free support groups, educational programs, and outreach presentations to individuals and families affected by mental illness.
