The Volunteer Event Coordinator is responsible for developing, planning, implementation, and logistics of the Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run event. The annual Jingle Bell Run (JBR) is the original festive race to support charity! Our participants dress up in fun, holiday attire, tie bells to their shoes and run to support those living with arthritis. Read more about the event here: www.jbr.org/ocie

The Event Coordinator:

  • Works closely with event chair, committee members and staff to ensure activities are delivered on time, within budget, and at the desired level of quality
  • Cultivates positive long-term relationships with all event stakeholders, especially committee members and sponsors
  • Seeks to consistently improve event execution and revenues
  • Provides support to other community events to help ensure their success, while promoting Jingle Bell Run

The Event Coordinator must be a self-started, team player, willing to tackle "other duties as assigned" to ensure the overall success and sustainability of the Jingle Bell Run.

Funds raised are invested in research and advocacy efforts as well as education programs and life-changing support for the 60 million Americans - adults and children - living with arthritis.
