The Food Share has begun a pilot, home delivered food box program and we need your help! We want to expand this program so that more of our neighbors can be served. We have the food, we know who needs it, now all we need are the dedicated volunteers to deliver the food to our neighbors.

Here are some important details about this opportunity:

  • Volunteers will typically deliver once per week to 3-5 households in Salem and Keizer. Alternative schedules (e.g. deliveries every other week) are also possible.
  • At this time, Tuesday is the primary deliver day.
  • Morning and afternoon opportunities are available.
  • Total time volunteering each shift will last between 1 and 2 hours.
  • Volunteers will use their own vehicles, must be fully insured, and have a current driver's license.
  • Volunteers must pass a background check before being cleared to drive.

Our team is excited to tell you more and to connect you with this new opportunity to serve our neighbors!
