ELARA CARING HOSPICE is looking for more wonderful volunteers in WATERFORD and surrounding areas at nursing homes as well as the entire TRI-COUNTY areas. Our volunteers give friendly, companionship visits to our patients.
Our Current Need is for Patient Visit Volunteers:
In Nursing Homes: You will visit with patients providing companionship through listening, talking, or holding a hand.
In Private Homes: You will provide respite care, allowing family members and caregivers to take a much-needed break.
All volunteers are given training to ensure the comfort of themselves and hospice patients and families alike. YOU ARE GIVEN TONS OF SUPPORT!!
