Responsibilities And What You Will Do:

• Serve as a primary support and resource for LGBTQIA+ volunteers and community members
• Assist with day-to-day tasks assigned to the LBGTQIA+ team
• Collaborate across ARO to develop and review policies and practices that advance inclusion
• Research and initiate partnership opportunities with prospective organizations in the local and global community
• Brainstorm and consistently document new, creative approaches to inclusive campaigns and create executable plans
• Attend all department and company wide meetings
• Assist with other duties as assigned by LGBTQIA+ manager

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of identities, issues, and research related to the LGBTQIA+ community.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized
• A strong work ethic, ability to take initiative, and is a self-starter
• Collaborative nature and confidence in performance
• Eagerness to work and thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, startup environment, and adjust to new priorities as needed
