Commitment: 2-4 hour shift weekly, biweekly, or monthly on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays
Location: Mostly at our workshop off West Cliff, occasionally at a rented kitchen space.
Description: The workshop volunteer will be supporting HGP's handcrafted product line that is sold through various retail stores, online, and at our farmstand, but mainly at our Pacific Avenue store location. These sales are a critical part in HGP's revenue, and it is imperative these products are crafted with care, and in alignment with our quality control specifications. This volunteer will be receiving directions from our experienced workshop staff. They will be asked to do a variety of tasks, to include but not limited to:
Handcrafting batches of our teas, salves, lotions, bath salts, and other various products. Often including ingredients freshly grown on our farm. See our whole product line here.
Participate in candle production
Packaging and labeling products.
Upkeep, organizing, and cleaning of our workshop.
Inventory tracking of raw materials
occasionally fulfilling online and wholesale orders

**This is a Referral Opportunity, which means it is run directly by one of our nonprofit partners. Once you express interest, someone from the partner organization should follow up with you shortly to discuss confirming you as a volunteer for this opportunity.
