Volunteers are needed to maintain the garden to grow food that can be provided to our clients visiting The HUB of Hope. We have on average about 750 meals distributed each week.
Tasks: Garden maintenance including weeding, watering and harvesting.
Requirements: Must sign a volunteer waiver, initial our COVID checklist, wear closed toed shoes, bring drinking water, suggested to wear sun protection, and bring gardening gloves (we have tools). Minors must be accompanied with a parent.
Parking: Parking lot in front of our building or along the city streets.

Description
Pathways of Hope is committed to rebuilding lives of the hungry and homeless in Orange County through Housing, Outreach, Prevention, and Engagement. Once a family or individual has become homeless, the path back to stability can be very challenging. Pathways of Hope offers several housing options to fit different situations, all with the goal of helping families and individuals re-gain permanent housing as quickly as possible. Pathways of Hope operates a resource center, the HUB of Hope, which offers emergency food and hygiene items to homeless and low-income families and individuals in Orange County.
