The PR/Marketing Lead has the responsibility of creating and maintaining a positive narrative about Just Speak via storytelling using photos, social media content, press releases to relay the mission and goals of the nonprofit. The volunteer role requires the lead to work with other volunteers, Board Members, the Executive Director and Director of Operations to create events and fundraisers for Just Speak.

Your application should include past and current experience in public relations, marketing and social media content. The ideal volunteer would be willing to donate 5+ hours promoting Just Speak each month. All volunteers are required to have a DHS Clearance.

Just Speak is a trauma-centered advocacy that provides crisis support and resiliency programming for children and youth aged 5 to 17 years. Since 2003, Just Speak has held the survivor story as the connector for a network of trained advocates from a variety of disciplines. We believe that prevention, intervention, and awareness building based in play and creative expression leads to healthy socio-emotional skills, and ultimately, to a life of resiliency.
