Our volunteers are passionate, inspired, and making a difference in the fight to end Alzheimer's disease.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's (r) is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.

October 15, 2022 brings us to our Walk to End Alzheimer's event at the Las Vegas Ballpark. volunteers must be prompt by 5:00 am in order to help us properly set up / take down our materials for participants, partners, and other volunteers.

The Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is a charitable organization governed by a local board of directors. While we are an affiliate of the National Alzheimer's Association based in Chicago, all our work is devoted to providing service and support to Alzheimer's patients, family members and caregivers throughout Nevada.

Our Purpose To empower and support individuals, families, care partners and communities affected by dementia in Arizona and southern Nevada.
