ORGANIZATION: HealthONE Hospice Denver

  • 9 people are interested

Want to volunteer in the Lakewood area? Help others as they near the end of their lives by spending time with a hospice patient. Create a special space for them-- read, review their life story with them, tell bad dad jokes, write a letter to a loved one for them, help them label old photographs, or just provide a comforting presence. As a Hospice Volunteer you are specially trained to support the patient and family in a variety of ways. You must pass a drug screen, background check and TB test.

Contact Stephanee Lopez, Volunteer Coordinator at 720-297-2535 or Stephanee.Lopez@hcahealthcare.com for more information.
