El Nido Family Centers is now enrolling potential volunteers for their Family Visitation Center program. If you're interested in volunteering with parents and children who have been separated due to abuse and/or neglect, this is the opportunity for you!

The Family Visitation Center is a place where children and parents that have been separated due to abuse and/or neglect can have supervised visits in a setting that is conductive to parent/child interaction and in which they can replicate "normal" family interactions.

A trained Family Visitation Coach offers support, provides guidance, "cheerleading", modeling and overall encouragement for parents during family visits with their children. The volunteer coach helps ensure a successful, safe visit while promoting parental confidence and competence. As a volunteer coach you must be at least 21 years of age, willing to be fingerprinted and screened, take a TB test, complete a 24-hour no cost training, and must be available 2 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.

***NEED volunteers especially available Saturdays and/or Sundays from 9am to 3pm***
