Global Paint for Charity is in search of an HR Coordinator to lead the recruitment and onboarding efforts for potential volunteers across various collaborative roles within our organization.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience as an HR Coordinator, demonstrating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. They should efficiently manage data flow and possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Google Suites platform.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Coordinator include:
- Demonstrating GPC Core Values such as Commitment to Those in Need, Integrity, Excellence, Urgency, Collaboration, Professionalism, Respect, and Teamwork.
- Assessing, implementing, and monitoring best practices for volunteer recruitment and onboarding.
- Drafting, editing, and managing descriptions of volunteer positions across various recruitment platforms.
- Managing all contracts and documents related to the onboarding of new volunteers.
- Handling the processing of personal information from onboarded volunteers through GPC data management systems (Google Sheets).
- Managing background check processes.
- Ensuring clear communication flow to maintain continuity and clarity in onboarding processes.
- Collaborating with the GPC technical support team to address any technical troubleshooting related to onboarding.
- Providing regular updates on current onboarding status to relevant GPC Board of Directors and Executive team members.
- Managing GPC Handshake and VolunteerMatch accounts.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Passion for assisting less fortunate and impoverished individuals.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficiency in all Google Suites software applications (Sheets, Forms, etc.).
- Ability to communicate conflicts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Efficient time management skills.
- Nonprofit experience is advantageous.
Time Commitments:
- 5 to 8 hours per week, remote work from home.
- 1 to 2 hours for virtual team meetings.
Term Conditions:
Volunteers onboarded for this role will undergo a maximum six-month introductory period to assess compatibility with the position.
