ORGANIZATION: Regional Hospice and Family Care

  • 6 people are interested

Helping others as they near the end of their lives is a profoundly moving experience. Spend some time with a hospice patient and create a special space for them-- read, review their life history, write a letter to a loved one for them, or just provide a comforting presence. As a Hospice Volunteer you are trained to support the patient and family in a variety of ways.

For patient safety: must pass a background check, drug screen and two-step TB test. If you drive to the patient's residence, you must have a current driver's license and proof of insurance. Must be 18 years or older to volunteer with Hospice patients.

For more information on how you can make a difference in the life of a hospice patient, email:

Mission Statement

Enriching the lives of those we serve with compassion, respect, excellence, and integrity.

Every day of life should be on your terms.

It’s not the quantity of our days that makes life special. It’s the quality of those days. At Regional Hospice & Family Care, we provide patients with the physical, emotional and spiritual support they need to live life on their terms - fully - with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Regional Hospice & Family Care is tailored to meet the needs of those facing life-limiting illness with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing physical, emotional and even spiritual comfort to both patient and family.

Our services benefit both the patient and their loved ones physically, emotionally and spiritually through the hospice journey. These include:

  • Customized care plan
  • Pain management
  • Nursing services
  • Personal care assistance
  • Financial/insurance advocacy
  • Spiritual comfort
  • Companionship (volunteers)
  • Bereavement support

  • 24/7 support line

Together, we can ensure the end of life is filled with living.
