Make a Difference
As a Friendly Volunteer, visits with the hospice patients where they live for 3-6 hours a month . The Friendly Visitor duties include, reading to your client, playing games, singing, listening to music, going on walks, helping in the garden, light house work, preparing a meal, running errands, friendly conversation, etc. This position requires orientation, a background check and some ongoing education.

Description
Heartland Hospice is recruiting for volunteers to provide friendly visits and caregiver relief/respite sitting for terminally ill patients and their families. We have many ways for volunteers to engage and change the lives of our patients. If you have the heart for it, we welcome your willingness to serve.
