Come help us prepare food boxes for clients. The entrance is located NEXT TO 2718 W. Roscoe. When you arrive, look for the entrance at Building 3401 Door 2. LOOK FOR THE VOLUNTEER CHECK IN SIGN. Parking lot available right across the street. For volunteers parking in the lot across the street, please make sure they park in a spot without a number. All volunteers are required to wear a mask or face covering. Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing - something that can get a little messy and closed toed shoes are required.

Description
Nourishing Hope (formerly Lakeview Pantry) is a dynamic social services organization providing food, mental wellness counseling, and other social services, such as job and housing assistance, to our Chicago neighbors in need. While our doors are open to all, the vast majority of those we serve within our neighborhood may be disabled, working for minimum wage, recently unemployed, or the elderly. Whatever the reason, we are here to help. Founded in 1970, we strive to serve the needs of the whole person-with respect and dignity, always.
