COMPASSION PHOTOGRAPHY

Every picture tells a story....

Homeland Hospice is seeking skilled photographers to become part of a "Life Review" team who will assist patients and their families with capturing the LOVE and CONNECTION that is part of their lives. Sharing your gift of photography can assist families not only during their period of grief but it can impact lives for generations.

Photography would be provided wherever the patient calls home - a private residence, a nursing home, or even a hospital. Homeland Hospice's office is located in Harrisburg, but serves several South Central PA counties, including - Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, and York. Volunteers determine when and where they are able to serve.

Volunteers are required to complete an Orientation which can be done as a self-study in the comfort of your own home and at your own pace. Volunteers also have a background check completed and a 2-step PPD (TB) Test. Any costs are covered by Homeland Hospice.

Compassion Photographers are asked to share some examples of their work.

This is a new program and the photographer is invited to help shape and mold the program so it best benefits our patients. Many photos may be of a patient's hands.

* All CDC guidelines are followed and education on safe visiting is provided.
