ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - National Headquarters

Purpose Statement: This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Biomedical Services (BIO) team. This is a remote (volunteer-from-home opportunity). This leadership position supports a team of NST-VVIC members and manages the volunteer helpline. Will serve as the BEBV scheduling subject matter expert for BVWE field teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Submit unscheduled volunteer hours
  • Communicate regularly through phone calls, text messages, and emails with volunteers and leadership
  • Perform data entry in Volunteer Connection
  • Manage regional shift tools
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support to Donor Ambassadors
  • Submit departmental specific forms at the end of every shift

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the role of NST (Preferred)
  • Maintain NST Duties
  • Dedicated Hotline Assignment
Length of Appointment:12 months (renewable)
