Come volunteer with Arts & Scraps at Royal Oaks Rock N Rides!Kick-off summer in downtown Royal Oak! Join this celebration of community, family and fun with carnival rides, a kids stage, live music, and more!
Join Arts & Scraps at the Rock N' Rides in downtown Royal Oak! Our volunteers will help assist in creating music themed projects throughout the day with children and families of all ages. We're looking for excited volunteers to help us on:
Thursday, June 17th from 2:30-6 pm,
Friday, June 18th from 2-6 pm,
Saturday June 19th from 12-6pm
Sunday, June 20th from 12-6 pm
We look forward to seeing you there! Thursday/Friday will be one shift for volunteers, and Saturday/Sunday will be two shifts (12-3pm & 3pm-6pm).

For over 30 years, Arts & Scraps has reimagined recycled materials to inspire people of all ages to think, create and learn.
Description
Arts & Scraps is open to the public to stuff bags with safe, accessible recycled industrial materials. We also host educational and curriculum-based field trips, on site workshops for children and adults and create art and curriculum kits for 10 to 35 students. We bring activity tables to events throughout the Metro Detroit Area. Our warehouse uses volunteers of all abilities to sort, pack and prepare materials for our programs and learning kits.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 15
- Each shift will require a constant presence but you will be given as many breaks as you need! Chairs will be provided as well as a tent covering!
- As we will be interacting with many strangers we do require masks for the safety of all the children we plan to serve during each shift. Any volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older.
