Come and join an awesome group of Christians who are working to help orphans around the world!

COTN is seeking Donation Coordinators for our warehouse in Silverdale, WA to sort and organize donations. These resources will be shipped to our five countries in Africa and the Caribbean and be used by children and their families in schools, homes, and villages.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are the best days for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Empty donation bins
  • Sort items by category
  • Label completed boxes
  • Organize sorting area
  • Create sorting area system for future volunteers to use
  • Manage other volunteers or groups with sorting
  • Prepare items to be packed for staff or Venture trips in-country
  • Other tasks as assigned

Description

Children of the Nations (COTN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising children who transform nations. Founded in 1995, the organization currently provides holistic care to orphaned and destitute children in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda,Liberia, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. By partnering with nationals, they establish full-care residential Children's Homes (for orphans) and Village Partnership Programs (to benefit orphans and children living with destitute families or caregivers who are unable to properly provide for them). Children of the Nations believes that true, lasting, and meaningful change to a nation begins with the children, and so they are their mission.
