We always have a need for IT expertise in areas such as building out student computer labs or refurbishing old laptops. Level I Help Desk Support -Limited assistance with walking users through basic troubleshooting steps, desktop and laptop builds and printer support Level II Help Desk Support - Including but not limited to anti-virus assistance, Windows 10 support, Microsoft Office 2010 support, general laptop, desktop and printer repair, and light network troubleshooting Ticket Management - Provide timely and transparent customer support of all requests Preventative Maintenance - Checking on critical systems to ensure there are no interruptions in business continuity and take part in the monthly maintenance. The COTN-USA Resource Department (Silverdale, WA) is looking for virtual or local volunteers to assist the Resource Director with locating key supplies to be sent to one of our five partner countries. Tasks include: Find deals and sales for key supplies (online research, calls, contacts etc...) Call businesses and supply contacts on behalf of COTN Resources Contact stores in local area(s) as well as chain stores Complete online applications for donation requests Apply for in-store credit or store spending cards to purchase key supplies This position can be completed in-office, viritually, or a mix of both. For in-office volunteers, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are best. Ideally, volunteers will come with a basic understanding of Children of the Nations (we have a great website - check it out! :) We're happy to answer questions for you! State and local COVID 19 protocols are in place for this position.

We are seeking a volunteer to help advance efficiency of the Sponsorship Department (and ultimately help our children find sponsors!) by translating letters from sponsors to their children. Responsibilities: Translating letters from sponsors to children into Spanish or French Creole by reading letters and hand writing the translation Help processing mail from children to their sponsors. Includes: reading, translating, checking off lists, organizing, stuffing envelopes and mailing Processing Christmas and Easter cards to children. Includes: reading, translating, and documenting Skills and Qualifications: Fluency in French Creole or Spanish - Dominican Spanish prefered (we will be requesting a translation sample from all applicants) Neat and legible handwriting Attention to detail Willingness to learn Ability to come into our physical office location State and local Covid 19 are in place for this position.
