50/50 Leadership was founded in 2004 to promote women’s equal leadership. Women are half the population; our vision is that they be half the leaders. We have conducted several programs and many events and currently are focused on providing financial literacy programs for women who grew up in foster care, who have suffered from domestic violence, have been incarcerated, or have been, or are homeless.
Our Board is an active, engaged, experienced, creative and committed group. We are currently looking for an experienced fundraiser / development leader to join us. We are a roll-up-our-sleeves and work kind of board - we have only 2 part time staff.
We have volunteers on the team that are writing grants, making calls to businesses and past donors, and a part time professional who is trying to develop a plan. We need a leader who can create a development strategy, a plan, and be able to lead the team to success.
If you are up for a challenge, have the fundraising chops/experience needed, and the time to make it all work, we would love to chat and see if there is a fit.
If you love talking to people and building relationships, if you are interested, reach out to us with a brief background of yourself to our Chair, Pauline Field at pfield@5050leadership.org.

Mission Statement
50/50 Leadership is committed to Empowering, Educating, and Inspiring women from all walks of life to become Leaders in their careers and communities. Make a difference.
Description
Established in 2004, we provide financial literacy programs to young women who have grown up in foster care, been incarcerated, been unhoused, and/or survived gender-based violence. In the past, we led leadership training programs and honored women who are making a difference around the world.
We feel that every girl and woman should have the opportunity to realize their leadership potential. Whether they are a leader in their home, at work, school or in the community.
We are women and men from all walks of life who agree that leadership should reflect the gender of the population: women make up more than half of the U.S. population and should be equally included in boardrooms, elected offices, academia, and all public and private enterprises and endeavors.
