Love to make a joyful noise? How about singing old hymns with a hospice patient? Or playing a tune with your musical instrument of choice and blessing patients with your musical talent? Many patients, especially dementia patients, respond well to music that they used to listen to in their early years! A patient who may be mostly nonverbal, might mouth the words or even sing along with you. It's quite a moving experience, and it makes a positive difference in their life--and in yours!
Serious inquiries only: Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and two-step TB test. Must possess a current driver's license, proof of insurance, and must be at least 18 years of age.
