Ohlone Humane Society https://ohlonehumanesociety.org/ has a quarterly electronic newsletter and we need your help with it
We have one volunteer who helps with soliciting material from the various program managers and editing but the newsletter needs an editor with a good visual sense who can also proofread and edit.
We use Mailchimp software, here's a past example of the newsletter https://mailchi.mp/a835657967c3/ohs-spring-2021-newsletter?e=[UNIQID]
Plenty of guidance on details and messaging will be available. We're hoping to see a Summer edition in June!
It's the kind of volunteer work that could take 6-8 hours over one weekend OR be spread over several weeks if that's how you operate. ideally, over the course of several editions, our new editor would develop relationships with our managers and develop their own ideas and suggest content.
This opportunity could be completely virtual.

Ohlone Humane Society is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that serves the Tri-City area in the East Bay. We care for animals and the community through humane programs and services. Ohlone Humane Society is privately funded and relies on the generous support of our community through donations and volunteering.
As one of the few humane societies that maintains a wildlife rehabilitation center, Ohlone Humane Society truly advocates for all creatures--from injured or orphaned native species to abandoned companion animals.
