Enjoy a fulfilling volunteer experience by providing companionship and socialization for patients or short-term respite for caregivers. Reminiscing, watching TV, playing music or just being present with a patient provides meaningful experiences for both the volunteer and patient. Caregivers need breaks for appointments, running errands or just to have lunch with a friend. Veteran to veteran and other specialty volunteers welcome - music or art therapy, crafts, life review recording, pet therapy, spiritual support, beautician & barber services. Days and times are flexible and comprehensive training is provided.

To become a volunteer, all you need is a compassionate heart. Our volunteer training will teach you everything you need to know to be a companion for someone during their end-of-life journey. You’ll learn valuable skills in grief counseling, spiritual and emotional support, and end-of-life care.
