The Osceola Council on Aging is in need of Meals-on-Wheels drivers!
This program's life's blood is supplied by the volunteers who commit to helping bring light to a senior each week. The food you bring nourishes the body, while your laughter and conversation feed the soul and spirit.
We deliver Monday through Friday mornings between 9:30 and 11:00 am in Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Holopaw, BVL, Celebration and Poinciana.
Training consists of familiarizing volunteers with the route, introducing you to the clients, and walking you through current safety protocols, (i.e. masks, gloves and distancing).
Are you energetic senior 55 or older looking to volunteer in your community? Join RSVP! The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is the largest volunteer organization for seniors in the US. As a member of AmeriCorps Seniors, you will be able to use the skills and knowledge you have acquired over the years to serve your community and have an positive impact on your neighbors in need.
Volunteers for Community Impact has been helping match seniors with the perfect volunteer opportunities for over 40 years in Central Florida. We are federally funded through the AmeriCorps, so our serves are 100% free! We also provide other support and benefits to our volunteers.
