Hillcrest Health Services is seeking volunteers to make regular pet therapy visits. Pet therapy visits are highly sought after because they reduce anxiety, provide interaction for people with all communication levels, and decrease the effects of loneliness by providing companionship.

This volunteer opportunity is open to any of our locations. Scheduling is very flexible and can be made to accommodate your schedule! To be eligible for this type of volunteering we ask that your pet either have a therapy animal certification or a recommendation letter of good behavior, which you can obtain from your vet. Please note that vets have the choice to refuse clients a letter of good behavior. This does not mean your animal is not well behaved, some vets just do not provide this type of documentation. In addition, we will need your pet's current vaccination records to be able to have them making in-person visits.
