Responsibilities (list the tasks):
- Greeting, welcoming, and directing visitors appropriately.
- Answer agency phone calls, screen and direct clients as appropriate, provide accurate description of services, and refer to external services as necessary.
- Performs general office duties (photocopying, scanning) as needed
Qualifications or special skills needed: -
- Friendly, welcoming attitude
- Interest in Affordable Housing and Habitat for Humanity
- Comfortable with a wide variety of people
- Excellent speaking skills
- Experience with multi-line phone system
- Comfortable navigating the internet and websites
Training provided:
Volunteer will be trained on phone system, photocopier, email systems and more.

Description
Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region builds houses in partnership with low income working families who purchase the homes at low interest and no profit. Volunteer labor and donated items help keep house costs low. Families must work on their own and other's homes.
