The pandemic has highlighted the ongoing inequalities that have existed in America for decades. The Achievement Gap is being widened with school closures. Low-income students of color are among the hardest hit, resulting in long-term economic costs for local and national communities. I have founded this nonprofit tutoring company using my proven results from my past 2 decades of tutoring experience. Our methods work - we just need the funding to get started!

As a new nonprofit 501(c)3 charity, I am applying for grants to get funding so we can start working with students (in order to collect data of our proven results and then get bigger grants). I am seeking an editor with grant writing experience to review my applications. I, too, have some experience writing grants, but not in this context.

I have already researched and found nearly 100 grants I can apply for. Of those, I went through and collected the questions that are asked and arranged them in a google doc. Then I composed 21 pages of responses that can be utilized and revised for various grants. I have also been working with an accountant to fine-tune our financial reports and budgeting spreadsheets. I have already applied for a few grants and have a good handle on the process, including tracking and organization. I am looking for a 2nd set of eyes to review the content and make suggestions for improvement before I click submit.
