We are looking for a volunteer to help at our annual fundraiser, the HopeBuilder Lunch. This is a one-time event, but if you are interested in continuing to volunteer with us as a photographer, that can be a possibility, too! See the information below for general volunteer photographer information.

General Volunteer Photographer Responsibilities:

We are looking for experienced photographers to shoot for Habitat for Humanity Portland Region.
This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio while supporting the mission of Habitat.

Volunteer photographers are needed to capture our dedicated volunteers, homeowners, and staff at the constructions sites, events, and ReStores.

Depending on the assignment, the volunteer position will be working directly with the Volunteer Programs Team and members of the Communications Department.

What is Required:

-Great event photography skills with the ability to take photos in various light settings.
-Comfortable communication skills to work with homeowners, volunteers, and staff.
-Own your own camera and photography equipment/software.
-Ability to submit photos in a timely manner following an assignment.
Reminder: This is an unpaid, volunteer opportunity.

General Position Details (if you want to continue volunteering beyond this event):

Length of commitment: We are hoping to secure ongoing volunteers with a commitment of 3 months to start.

Assignment hours: This is not a time-intensive position. We can work with your schedule.

Location: Onsite assignments can include construction sites, ReStores, our offices, homeowners' homes, and various event locations.
