Do you have office experience? Do you enjoy helping people help others? The Center for Development and Civic Engagement (formerly Voluntary Service) office is looking for outgoing, organized individuals with general knowledge of computers, copiers and phones to assist the Specialists and Program Support Assistants in the office. Our office Volunteers would be greeting visitors to the office, copying/scanning/filing electronically, answering the phones, scheduling appointments for staff, entering data into spreadsheets and other special projects as they present themselves.
Prospective Volunteers must have good communication skills, ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and excellent customer service skills. Previous computer experience with Microsoft Office programs is welcomed.
Current openings are 8 am-12 pm or 12 pm to 4 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.
A resume is not required but can be submitted before or during the initial new volunteer appointment with CDCE.
