SRFF is looking for volunteers to work on two of its forthcoming events, namely "Focus on Lebanese Cinema" and "SR for Black Voices" that will take place in August 2021. The various volunteer positions will range from ad=ministraive help, outreach, marketing, social media promotion, technical assistance during Zoom session, and in-person events (if we do end up having open-air social distance respecting events).
Another part of the volunteer work will comprise viewing and recommending films from the submissions to be selected in the official program of the festival for March 2022.
Schedules and times are flexible with the viewing and can be done at your own leisure and from home.
The event volunteering needs to be scheduled around the events of the festival and will follow a clearly defined schedule. At no given time will shifts surpass the 5-hour limit.
Further details will be provided once volunteers are vetted and orientation happens.

SR Socially Relevant(tm) Film Festival New York is a film festival that focuses on socially relevant film content, andhuman interest stories that raise awareness to social problems and offer positive solutions through the powerfulmedium of cinema.
SRFF was founded in 2013 by actress/filmmaker Nora Armani in a response to the proliferation of violence and violent forms of storytelling. SRFF is anon-profit 501(c)3 film festival whose mission is the promotion of filmmakers who produce socially relevant(tm) film content and tell human interest stories. Over 400 films from 35 countries have been screened to date.
