We have volunteers specifically for research and outreach. The processes and software have already been set up and tested.

We are seeking a Volunteer Manager to take over (and potentially improve) the processes.

The duties include:

• Keep job posts updated and active on VolunteerMatch and Handshake
• Make sure ALL applicants complete the Application form (cross-checking with Application Responses )
• Every 15th of the month: audit rejected applicants, asking clarifying questions and/or providing feedback to the Intern Managers as needed
• Every 1st and 15th of the month: complete checks for ALL Interns regarding the number of hours and contacts, logging Underperformance and Above & Beyond , and carrying out the consequences/rewards when necessary
• Composes Letters of Recommendation for Interns after 6 months of service
• Every 15th of the month: Export contact data from Odoo to Salesforce
• Support 2 Intern Managers where needed
• Maintain Systems (Portal, ODOO, Time Clock Wizard, etc.)
• Update training and outreach documents as necessary

This will require about 5 hours of unpaid volunteer work each week for a minimum of 6 months.

Volunteers make up a major vein of a nonprofit organization. As a new nonprofit, we want to make sure that we are bringing the right volunteers onto our team and that we are empowering them to be successful. A Volunteer Manager will help find, onboard, and engage our volunteers.

This will become a paid position once we receive funding for it.
