JOB DESCRIPTION

The Corporate Relations team is responsible for connecting with corporate and nonprofit organizations to create and manage partnerships with Random Acts. The position of Partnerships Manager will work closely with existing and prospective partners as well as the Random Acts Executive Team to optimize engagement and impact for both organizations. They will manage a team consisting of 4-8 people, covering areas related to account coordination, reporting and analytics, opportunity development, and corporate research.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the Director of Programming to ensure strong relationships with multiple partners and sponsors, enabling Random Acts to maintain their primary programs with consistent and stable funding
  • Manage projects and efforts related to current partners and potential leads to determine partnership needs and maintain partner relationship
  • Communicating goals, project plans, and issues to fellow volunteers for ongoing and upcoming activities current and potential partners
  • Designing and renewing partnership proposals, with the assistance of the legal team
  • Drafting and sending communications to partners about upcoming Random Acts activities

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Sales, Marketing, or Account Management experience is generally preferred.
  • Ability to manage a diverse team with a wide range of focus
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional presentation and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with MS Office, particularly Excel, PPT, and Word, as well as Google Suite including Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets
  • Proactive and self-starter attitude with a passion for customer satisfaction.
  • Comfort with Contracting terms related to corporate partners and account management
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal direction
  • Preference is given to those with a degree in business or the equivalent of 5 years of experience in marketing, account management, project management, or event planning.
