Whether you want to volunteer as an individual or organize a group, CHS remote volunteer projects allow you to make a difference in the lives of children and families in your area by gathering materials and assembling much needed resource kits. CHS team members will share the pre-assembled packages based on the greatest need of the clients they serve.

To get started, choose the project you would like to complete from the list below. You can purchase the items on the materials list or organize a supply drive within an organization or school. Materials must be in new condition. Once all of the supplies have been collected, assemble individual packages. Each kit will earn you 2 hours of volunteer time. You can mail completed kits or schedule a day and time to drop off.

Hygiene Kit

Travel size or Regular size (Select 4 items to include in kit)

• Deodorant
• Soap or body wash
• Lotion
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Feminine hygiene items

Activity Kit

• Coloring Book
• Any pack of crayons
• Stickers

Therapy and Self Calming Kit

• Journal
• Colored Pencils
• Bubbles
• Play-Dough or Silly Putty
