Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: United Way of Greater Cincinnati

United Way of Greater Cincinnati is asking groups to purchase and assemble literacy kits for families in Hamilton County. Kits will include a new book, two skill-building activities and a Note of Encouragement volunteers will assemble, and resources for families to engage and read together.

Our goal is to collect 3,700 kits. Since April 19, we have received over 2,500 of our total goal, but we still need help!

Kits will then be distributed to 3-and-4-year old patients and their families visiting Cincinnati Children's Hamilton County neighborhood and school-based health clinics.

Group Purchase & Assembly -
Workplaces, community, school and faith groups will have the option to purchase kits in bulk to host an in-office or remote service project. UWGC will work with you to support delivery and return logistics of your bulk purchase. There is a 20-kit purchase minimum.

Sign-up today and you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for next steps.

Thank you to our partners: Blue Manatee Literacy Project, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cradle to Career, Crayons to Computers, and United Way Success by 6 Hamilton County
