***CAREGIVER RESPITE IS SO IMPORTANT THESE DAYS. HELP FULFILL A SPOUSE'S WISH TO REJOIN THEIR GOLF LEAGUE!***
The spouse of a home hospice Patient in the Akron/Springfield area has been lovingly cared for by their partner for some time. When the weather turned nice, they were finally able to rejoin their Wednesday Golf League. It's been a great opportunity for some time away for wellness and recharging and we'd like them to have the opportunity to complete league play. Do you have the time to help out?
The Wednesday golf league continues through the fall. Another family member cares for the Patient until noon, so the volunteer request is from 11:45 - 2 or 3.
BTW, the Patient is pretty special too!
We have this immediate need for a volunteer in Akron/Springfield, but have on-going needs in Akron/Canton and surrounding areas. We'll match you with someone close by, and your required commitment is for the amount of time YOU want and half to offer. It's a win-win for everyone.

HarmonyCares Hospice volunteers are as diverse as our professional staff. Compassion and caring are the hallmarks of any great hospice volunteer, and their involvement is a vital part of our team.
