Purpose of Position:

The Social Media Manager at ReDefiners World Languages is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. They work closely with the marketing team and Marketing Director to create compelling content and campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our website. The Social Media Manager is also tasked with monitoring and analyzing social media metrics, identifying trends, and adjusting the strategy accordingly. They stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that our social media presence remains fresh and relevant.

Who Are We Looking For?

Marketing, Public Relations and Mass Communications students or professionals are invited to join our team to contribute time and skills in a volunteer capacity. If you are creative, goal-oriented, proactive and looking to make a major impact through a small organization, while gaining valuable hands-on experience, you could be part of the ReDefiners’ Marketing Team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create social media content & engagement strategy
• Create engaging social media content on digital media platforms and manage dissemination of the content
• Compose impactful messaging with a primary focus on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
• Monitor, analyzing and evaluate social media metrics

Requirements

• Previous experience setting up social media paid campaigns
• Previous experience working with social media managing tools
• Active and engaging personal social media profile
• Proficient in navigating & using social media platform tools (Hashtags, Reels, Stories, Algorithms, trends, etc.)
• Familiar with the following platforms/tools:
• Basecamp, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Wix, Facebook Business Suite, Canva, Later, Excel or Google Sheets
