ORGANIZATION: Share Our Selves (SOS)

Volunteers work in our food pantry, sorting and assembling food bags for our clients and community members experiencing food insecurity and/or homelessness. We are a direct services agency that distributes over 300 bags of food each day.

The health and safety of our volunteers is a priority. All volunteers must be fully vaccinated (including booster), and are required to wear a mask, and follow low-COVID protocols.

2 Shifts

  • 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM
    Mid-Day shift
  • 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM
    PM shift

Share Our Selves Community Health Center (SOS) has provided care and assistance to our most vulnerable populations in Orange County since 1970. With health clinics throughout Orange County, we specialize in providing comprehensive personalized care for the community, including medical and dental services, pharmacy services, behavioral health, case management, financial assistance, and community programs. Our experience and wide-ranging services, allow us to address the systemic nature of poverty, upholding our clients’ basic human rights through transformational care, and advocating for the dignity all members of our community deserve. REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 16
  • Minimum commitment: 1 shift a week for at least 3 months.
  • Volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID19, including booster. Volunteers must be able to bend, lift at least 15 lbs, perform physical work, and stand for prolonged period of time.
