Share Our Selves’ (SOS) encourages volunteers from all walks of life. SOS has worked to make Orange County a happier, healthier and safer place for vulnerable people and families who call it home. As a nationally recognized, award-winning health center, we provide personalized care and assistance to more than 135,000 individuals each year. We offer a wide range of health and social services, and seasonal programs that focus on the persons’ mind, body and spirit to ensure at-risk families and our homeless neighbors have the opportunity to live well through all of life’s stages. Our growing network of care includes centers located in the communities of highest need, in order to provide the right treatment, at the right place, and the right time. SOS Program Opportunities: Food Pantry (Year Round) Volunteers work in our food pantry, sorting and assembling food bags for our clients and community members experiencing food insecurity and/or homelessness. We are a direct services agency, distributing over 300 bags of food each day. Back to School Program Prepares children in Orange County for a successful school year by providing them with a backpack filled with school supplies. There have been more than 2,00 children that have benefit from this program since 1996. Thanksgiving Food Drive Distribute food bags before thanksgiving Adopt a Family Program For over 53 years, SOS has been linking generous community members with over 1,000 families in need of extra support during the holidays. This wonderful tradition provides families with gifts and gift cards. For more information email volunteers@shareourselves.org
