Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the creative development and production process, ensuring accuracy and internal communication for all marketing initiatives.

Essential Functions

  • You will proactively communicate and drive multiple, simultaneous campaign efforts, from inception to completion (e.g. project approval, strategic development, creative concept process, structure of reviews, and execution).
  • You will be responsible for prioritizing and aligning our internal creative teams on a regular cadence, securing integration across functions, partnering and leading the set up and facilitation of status meetings and tracking action items throughout.
  • You will be critical in supporting relationships between marketing and product teams in order to improve and consolidate the creative ecosystem.
  • You will communicate with relevant groups to ensure they are kept up to date on the progress of our deliverables, have all necessary materials, and are aligned with our work.
  • Up to date with the evolving best practices for content marketing using blogs and social media.
  • Unfazed by deadlines. You can set a schedule and keep it.
  • Support the team to design and deliver experiences that help grow our School Group brand.
  • Create and maintain project schedules for all assets from brief through final delivery, and communicate any changes as they arise.
  • Proactively recommend and advocate for solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of processes. Share any process changes, tool updates, training and timing for implementation as required.
  • Help facilitate creative reviews, create and communicate agendas beforehand, send recaps, notes and next steps afterward
  • Own the Jira board - actively monitor project status and proactively communicate to escalate any challenges that put a project at risk. Resolve obstacles and manage change requests as they arise, working with cross-functional colleagues to adjust timelines, project scope and/or resources as needed.
  • Nurture cross-team relationships with partners to help them understand the creative production process.

Qualifications

Basic

  • You have ~5+ of brand marketing and agency experience working with global brands, ideally advertising specific and with an emphasis on integrated communications.
  • Someone who can communicate with both creative and non-creatives around the details of a production.
  • You have some non-profit experience
  • You can balance working in a fast-paced, creatively driven organization applying strong work ethic.
  • You are a strategic thinker, comfortable navigating and ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
  • You have the ability to inventively problem solve and organize information at a high level to address potential roadblocks and define the best way forward with rigorous attention to detail.
  • You understand campaign development, digital and video asset creation and approval cycles.
  • You have extraordinary communication skills and are at ease building rapport, credibility and influence with multiple partners working in a dynamic organization.
  • Very comfortable reviewing creative briefs + working with requesters to identify + fill missing information gaps.
