School Group is looking for a Grant Manager to source available opportunities and support School Group through the rigorous application process for government and philanthropic grants. Types of grants include matching grants, in-kind contributions, operating grants and special grant proposals. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To source information on available grants and apply the activities of the organization in a way that qualifies for the funding. To maintain and coordinate the database of supporters, sponsors, and prospects. To update records and manage data as needed. To assist the Fundraising Manager with identifying prospective donors. To examine the records of existing donors as well as new lists and compare against a set of criteria. To manage sensitive, confidential information with high integrity. Demonstrated facility with computer software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Fundraising software, PowerPoint) a distinct advantage. Exceptional attention to detail and task follow-through. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet competing deadlines. A strong eye for good design and high aesthetic standards Solid interpersonal and collaboration skills. Ability to successfully interface with senior-level internal stakeholders. Preferred Understanding of Graphic Design or a related creative field. Experience working remotely as part of a team. Experience working in a start-up company, non-profit or entrepreneurial environment. Self-directed and disciplined with the ability to work independently in an ever-changing environment. THIS IS A VPOLUNTEER ROLE School Group is looking for a Development Director to develop the structure of fundraising for the School Group including identifying organizations for partnership, cultivating the support process, planning donation campaign structure, and communicating decisions to the Fundraising Department from The Board of Directors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop fundraising strategies, tactics, and procedures to ensure cultivation of relationships. Create an annual fundraising plan, calendar, and budget. Identify and facilitate opportunities for supporters through unique and innovative campaigns. Work to develop campaign materials with Curriculum Development & Marketing. Communicate and collaborate with the Board of Directors take the lead on development of gift acknowledgements. Track the entire development process from donor identification to collection to acknowledgement.
