Come save our trees! April showers bring May flowers; unfortunately, that also brings back invasive weeds in full force! We need as much help as possible to start pulling out the weeds before they completely invade the pots of all our plants and trees before they go out into the city. Come enjoy a sun soaked day out at the Our City Forest Nursery & Training Center and help us remove wheelbarrows full of weeds (NO AGE REQUIREMENT OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED). It may even be possible to get yourself a free succulent in the process!

Our mission is to cultivate a green and healthy Silicon Valley by engaging community members in the appreciation, protection, growth and maintenance of our urban ecosystem, especially our urban forest.
Description
The ultimate goal of the program is to facilitate the planting of one million trees in Silicon Valley, utilizing one million people. We have planted over 70,000 trees in San Jose, encouraging community members to join us in improving the environmental conditions of their communities. We focus on making a healthy urban forest accessible to all by offering services targeted towards disadvantaged communities because we believe a healthy environment should be available to all people, not just those who have the resources to access it.
