Filmmaker & Video Editor Volunteer Position
Girl Now Woman Later Inc. is looking for a video producer and editor who is a storyteller and a change maker! We're seeking adult volunteers to help us complete a project by utilizing the raw files of already-produced digital content.
If you have video production and editing skills and experience, we'd love to hear from you!
Organizational Impact:
This digital content for Girl Now Woman Later Inc. will help us support our engagement goals (through views, likes, comments, watch time, and retention). It will also help further our mission and raise awareness of the social issues that girls from Burkina Faso are facing every day.
Goals
We hope to release these videos as soon as possible. Therefore, we are looking for somebody who can dedicate time to this project within the next 3- 4 weeks.
Time Commitment and Location of Work:
This project will require an estimated 2 to 3 hours of editing.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Skills and understanding of shooting and editing.
- Experience operating a camera and using video-editing software.
- Video production, including editing on iMovie, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro.
- Knowledge of appropriate video/audio-based software used with Apple products.
- Ability to produce videos that are consistent with the expectations of Girl Now Woman Later Inc. in terms of branding, voice, and message.

The mission of Girl Now, Woman Later, Inc. is to promote literacy awareness in Cobb county, Georgia among English as a second language (ESL) students as well as to increase the literacy rate and graduation rate especially among females from middle school and high school in Burkina Faso."
Description
We plan to educate, empower, and lead underprivileged middle school students and high school students in underserved areas of Burkina Faso at no charge by providing them access to academic tutors as well as instructors/tutors for vocational skills. In Georgia, we plan to promote literacy awareness for students by providing access to online reading programs, online libraries, books, and have author visits to further enrich literacy education.
