Volunteers who are also veterans can often make special connections with veterans receiving hospice care, in ways that only those who have served can. Volunteers provide companionship to our veteran patients and participate in our personalized Veteran’s Recognition Ceremonies, offering a final salute and thank you for their service to our country.
Orientation, background check, TB test and drug screen are all required and provided.

Miracle City Hospice is a locally and independently owned and operated company that is dedicated to providing patient-centered care and support to residents in whatever place they call home. As a Miracle City Hospice volunteer you will see patients/families wherever they call home: in their private residence, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and other residential facilities.
