Volunteer: Make a Difference in Someone's Life - Vigil Volunteer for a Miracle City Hospice Patient Share your gift of time with a patient on their end-of-life journey. No special skills needed - just a listening ear and an open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you'll ever spend. Here at Miracle City Hospice, one basic value of hospice care that we believe in is that no one should die alone. We also know that not all patients have someone that can be there with them during this time, and at times, some families may want someone from the hospice team to be present. That is why we train a special team of volunteers to help keep vigil and provide a bedside presence for the patient and family in the final moments of life. If you have a desire to volunteer, and you share in our commitment to ensure every patient has someone with them in their final moments-someone to share a kind word and to hold their hand when their time comes, please reach out to Bridget Murphy @ 216-396-3450 or email bmurphy@addus.com and see how you can help today! Miracle City Hospice-Pet Therapy

Miracle City Hospice is looking for Pet Therapy Volunteers to share the true joy of a therapy dog visit with patients experiencing life limiting diagnosis's. Pet Therapy volunteers know first had the beauty and the gift that petting and loving an animal can bring! Orientation, background check, TB test and drug screen are all required and provided. Miracle City Hospice Volunteers choose when, where and how much time to Volunteer.
